The Cognition & Complex Conditions Lab (C3 Lab) is a clinical neuropsychological research lab at the University of the Fraser Valley. We are broadly interested in understanding brain-behaviour relationships and how these are modified in the context of mental illness and addiction across the adult lifespan. Emphasis is placed on examining the impact of multimorbidity (i.e., 2 or more co-occurring mental or physical illnesses) and aging on brain structure and cognitive functioning using neuroimaging and behavioural methodologies. The overarching goal of the C3 Lab is to produce foundational clinical research with translational value to improve the well-being of vulnerable and marginalized persons living with complex conditions.
